THE WORST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR?
A forum for disgruntled non-management employees can vent their frustrations at the unfair labor practices conducted by Corporate America. All in an attempt for us to take some of the power back from our supervisors, managers, c.e.o.'s and anyone else in the "bullying" position.

CHINA VS. US
Everyone hails China as the new United States. Hell we even borrow from them so I guess their new found dominance is justified.
I want to pose this question to anyone that will answer it. Do they outsource their work to India in China like we do in the US?
Are their companies sending jobs to Mexico, India, South America just to save on payroll then lay off all the Chinese workers?
I doubt very seriously they outsource in that country.
American CEO's and shareholders are only interested in the bottom line and have no sense of pride in their country. They stab their workers in the back to save $3.00 per hour + benefits so that their stock price will rise and the executives and shareholders will make more money.

THE LAY OFF KINGS
- GENERAL MOTORS: Number of jobs cut since the recession began: 107,357
- CITI CORP: 73,056
- HEWLETT-PACKARD: 47,540
- CIRCUIT CITY: 41,495
- MERRILL LYNCH: 40,650
Why even work for these people? I would avoid these companies at all cost, because at the first sign of trouble their employees and their families mean absolutely nothing to them.
They are doing nothing but making things worse, how about finding another solution to your problem instead laying off your workers.
How about a hiring freeze, how about cutting out over-time, how about cutting positions and offer employees other jobs within your organization, how about offering your employees options ie less money, less hours, less benefits, but dont just mass fire your employees.

THE GREAT DIVIDE
Is it fair that workers receive $15.00-20.00 per hour on a job and the out going CEO receives $38 million dollars?
No wonder my overtime is gone, my raises are gone , and my benefits are cut in half, so the rich can stay filthy, dirty rich.
Although, I do not work for this company, we can all agree that they all basically have the same payroll practices, that is executives get millions of dollars in bonuses, and employees barely even get a paycheck.

HILTON RESERVATIONS
Because this is my blog, Hilton Reservations, will always be number 1 on my list of the worst companies to work for.
In the height of the recession circa 2008, I decided to find a part-time job. My current job decided to cut all of our over-time. A friend told me that Hilton Reservations was hiring people to do reservations at home. Wow, I thought, how perfect would that be? I can make some extra money while working at home.
Little did I know that I would have the worst jobs experience of my life. I worked for my full-time job in the transportation industry for over 20 years and I never had anything close to the horrible experience that my friends and I suffered through at the hands of this company.
1. $8.25....I must have been smoking crack when I agreed to this amount of pay, we were so fooled by the term "Work @ Home". Don't fall for that smoke screen. The employees working in the center earned $15.00 an hr and well worth it, with the amount of material they MAKE you learn.
2. Reviews- we had a review every month...can you imagine getting reviewed on your work every month? One month I was the best employee they had ever seen, the next month I was the worst and was in jeopardy of being fired.
3. Monitoring- Endless Monitoring of calls and if you did not follow script you failed that called and was in jeopardy of being fired.
4. Training-6 weeks of training that could have easily been done in 2 weeks if the idiots knew how to train.
5. Raises-Ha that's a joke, I worked there for a year and received a 5cent raise...they could have kept that.
This is just a small taste of the torture my friends and I suffered at the hands of Hilton Reservations, If we all band together maybe we can have some changes made to the ridiculous way Corporate America treats it's employees.
This Blog is intended to be a voice of the "little man/woman".
If you have been treated wrong by the company you currently work for or previously worked for use this blog as your forum to speak your mind. Try and list your grievances numerically like I did above.
